Ritchie Perera

Ritchie is an entrepreneur and business leader with 30+ years’ experience across property, hospitality, entertainment, and technology sectors. Under Ritchie’s leadership, Castle Group has become a leading property developer in Western Sydney.

His visionary leadership extends to other industries in Australia and abroad including hospitality and technology. He currently owns and operates six popular restaurants in Sydney with another two ventures set to open in 2025. He also holds a major interest in global technology firm, Arimac.

Ritchie founded the Perera Foundation in 2014 to support non-profit organisations address critical social issues.

AJ Vella

AJ manages a team of professionals working to ensure Castle Group operations run efficiently and effectively. He is responsible for the technology, administrative and facility management functions, as well as overseeing people and culture, legal, and corporate affairs.

Since joining Castle Group in 2013, he has been instrumental in the company’s growth, driving business development and operational excellence. With a career spanning 20+ years, AJ previously held senior management positions at Urban Agent and Urban Agency.

Daz Kasandaria

Daz is responsible for all areas of financial management of Castle Group’s extensive and diverse property portfolio, investments and trading, with a focus on developing and implementing long-term financial strategies to support growth.

With nearly 20 years of experience, he has deep expertise in financial reporting, corporate governance, and strategic financial planning. He previously worked for property developer, Denwol Group and financial planning firm, Thirdview.

Daniel Joseph

Daniel leads the Strategy and Growth team and is responsible for strategic initiatives that drive business growth including market research and insights, and business development.

He has more than 10 years of experience in property development for Castle Group, CBRE and One Fell Swoop. Daniel joined Castle Group in 2019 and has played a critical role in growing the company and delivering its significant development portfolio.

Jackie Staples

Jackie is responsible for setting the company strategy for recruitment, training and development, performance management, and employee engagement.

She has over 25 years of experience driving strategic and operational HR excellence, across several industries including healthcare and professional services. She served on the Australian-New Zealand leadership team of a multinational healthcare company.

Stuart Allen

Leading a large team of development, project management, and sales and marketing professionals, Stuart has oversight of the planning, delivery, and sales and marketing of development projects.

He is a highly experienced development executive and qualified CPA with over 20 years of experience in the property industry, working for major property companies including Stockland, Mirvac and Ingenia.

Isaac Kassis

Isaac is an acquisitions and project management specialist with over six years of experience in development with Castle Group, Colliers, Craig and Rhodes, and Cardno.

He leads an experienced acquisitions team responsible for financial analysis, negotiating terms, and managing the due diligence process of acquisitions. Isaac has been instrumental in growing Castle Group’s significant project pipeline.

John Ng

John is a qualified Chartered Accountant with over 17 years of experience in finance. He has worked for major companies such as PricewaterhouseCoopers, Ampol and Infrabuild Australia.

With expertise in financial control, risk management and compliance, John oversees financial operations, delivering strategic insights, and ensuring the seamless execution of processes.

Jay Carter

Managing a team of 17 sales and marketing professionals, Jay oversees the development and execution of Castle Group’s comprehensive sales and marketing strategy that aligns with the Company’s pipeline and growth targets.

He is an industry leader with 20 years+ experience driving success for companies including Mirvac, Lendlease and Poly Global.

Anh Dang

Anh oversees the development and implementation of strategies and programs to build and enhance Castle Group’s reputation and relationships with stakeholders.

She is a seasoned communications and stakeholder engagement professional with 20+ years’ experience in politics, government and property development. She has worked for a NSW Government Minister, Parramatta City Council Lord Mayors, Lendlease, Walker Corporation, UrbanGrowth NSW and Health Infrastructure NSW.

Matthew Lau

Matthew heads the legal, governance and compliance functions of Castle Group. With his extensive experience in the property development, construction and finance industries, Matthew understands the development and funding business from a unique legal and commercial perspective.

He has previously worked for a listed international property developer, a global law firm and a specialist construction law firm.
